This month, our spotlight shines on one of the most dedicated members of our chapter, Tanya Smith! Tanya has been a driving member of our great Chapter since 1997! She has served as just about every office possible as well as director and President in 1999! Tanya competed in national competition for write up & has been to numerous national conventions! Tanya was honored by our chapter with a Governorship #124! She has worked very hard and in 1999 she was awarded her 10th Degree pin! In 2003 she was bound and determined to see our chapter grow, and was honored by the state with the 15 member recruiter Buffalo Bolero! In 2004, Tanya was awarded the prestigious PPIS Club Scott Atkinson Memorial Award. PPIS for those that don’t know means Past Presidents Inspiring Success, which is what Tanya does every day! |
Tanya not only works hard for the Jaycees, but she worked very hard to earn her bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education last May! That fact that she earned her degree was no surprise, but Tanya earned it while serving as Management VP with a full time job, and a full time mom! |
